Verlogene korrupte Nicht-Wissenschaffende

Über den Niedergang der Universitäten und der Wissenschaft und wie sie in Korruption und Political Correctness versinken.

Ein Leser hat mich auf einen Rant eines gewissen Noah Carl aufmerksam gemacht, der da eigentlich einen Wissenschaftsnewsletter schreibt, aber gerade tobt, dass die Universitäten den Bach runtergehen: Scientists, not doing science

Es geht darum, wie korrupt und politisch die Universitäten geworden sind.

I want to begin this essay by congratulating the editors of Nature Human Behaviour.

On 18 August, they published an editorial specifying that they “reserve the right” to reject articles which are not sufficiently PC. In particular, they object to content that is “premised upon the assumption of inherent biological, social, or cultural superiority or inferiority of one human group over another”, or that “could reasonably be perceived to undermine” the “rights and dignities of an individual or human group”. In other words: don’t bother submitting any work on biological group differences.

Und wenn man sich nun dieses Editorial von Nature Human Behaviour anschaut, kann einem tatsächlich übel werden: Science must respect the dignity and rights of all humans Und was diese Würde ist, das legen Marxisten tagesaktuell willkürlich fest. So ähnlich wie meine Erlebnisse im NDR, wo die „Neuen Deutschen Medienmacher“ diktierten, dass nur noch das als Meinung zulässig und geschützt ist, was kein Hass sei. Und auf meine Frage, was denn Hass und dessen Definition sei, hieß es, das lege der Diskurs jeweils fest. Heißt im Klartext: Eine Minderheit diktiert eine Mehrheitsmeinung, von der man nicht mehr abweichen darf.

Aus diesem Editorial:

Although academic freedom is fundamental, it is not unbounded. The same ethical considerations should underlie science about humans as apply to research with human participants.

Well-established ethics frameworks govern the conduct of studies with human participants. Research ethics bodies use these frameworks to examine prospectively whether research projects involving human participants align with ethical principles. […]

Yet, people can be harmed indirectly. For example, research may — inadvertently — stigmatize individuals or human groups. It may be discriminatory, racist, sexist, ableist or homophobic. It may provide justification for undermining the human rights of specific groups, simply because of their social characteristics.

Along with other Springer Nature colleagues, we led the development of new guidance that addresses these potential harms and is incorporated in our research ethics guidance. This guidance extends consideration of the principles of ‘beneficence’ and ‘non-maleficence’ — key elements of all ethics frameworks for research with human participants — to any academic publication.

In creating this guidance, we took as a starting point the first article of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights — humans are “free and equal in dignity and rights”1. We drew on the several covenants and conventions of the United Nations (for example, refs. 2,3); existing frameworks for research with human participants (for example, refs. 4,5); and the ethics codes of disciplines such as sociology6,7 and anthropology8, which have traditionally considered harms that arise for communities or human groups beyond those directly involved in a research project. […]

In this guidance, we urge authors to be respectful of the dignity and rights of the human groups they study. We encourage researchers to consider the potential implications of research on human groups defined on the basis of social characteristics; to be reflective of their authorial perspective if not part of the group under study; and to contextualise their findings to minimize as much as possible potential misuse or risks of harm to the studied groups in the public sphere. We also highlight the importance of respectful, non-stigmatizing language to avoid perpetuating stereotypes and causing harm to individuals and groups. […]

We also developed two specific sections — on race, ethnicity and racism; and on sex, gender identity/presentation and orientation — that clarify issues with these constructs and explain that racism and discrimination on the basis of gender identity or sexual orientation should have no place in science.

There is a fine balance between academic freedom and the protection of the dignity and rights of individuals and human groups. We commit to using this guidance cautiously and judiciously, consulting with ethics experts and advocacy groups where needed. Ensuring that ethically conducted research on individual differences and differences among human groups flourishes, and no research is discouraged simply because it may be socially or academically controversial, is as important as preventing harm. […]

Researchers should be free to pursue lines of inquiry and the communication of knowledge and ideas without fear of repression or censorship. At the same time, they have the ethical obligation to uphold intellectual integrity and avoid preventable harms that may arise in the course of research or its communication. […]

Sexist, misogynistic and/or anti-LGBTQ+ content is ethically objectionable. Regardless of content type (research, review or opinion) and, for research, regardless of whether a research project was reviewed and approved by appropriate ethics specialists, editors may raise with the authors concerns regarding potentially sexist, misogynistic, and/or anti-LGBTQ+ assumptions, implications or speech in their submission;

Sie sagen zwar, dass sie die Freiheit der Forschung nicht beeinträchtigen wollen, und dass jeder das Recht habe zu forschen, gleichzeitig verletzen sie aber genau das. So darf man keine Forschung bezüglich der Ethnizität oder des Geschlechts mehr treiben, ohne vorher genau zu spezifizieren und rechtfertigen, warum und wozu man das gerade braucht. Wobei sie vorgeben, dass es keine Rassen (mehr, nach neueren Definitionen) gibt.

Heißt im Klartext, dass Forschung, die beispielsweise zu dem Ergebnis käme, dass Schwarze oder Frauen im Mittel geringere Spitzen-IQ-Werte erreichen oder weniger Arbeitszeit haben als weiße Männer, nicht mehr erlaubt wäre. Man dürfte auch nicht mehr sagen, dass der ganze Gender-Quatsch Quatsch ist.

Noah Carl gratuliert ihnen. Nicht für den Unfug, den sie schreiben, sondern dafür, dass sie wenigstens so ehrlich sind, sich offen zu dem Unfug zu bekennen, den andere längst stillschweigend haben.

Im Ergebnis führt man hier eine ideologische Zensur ein, weil Texte, die gegen das ideologische Diktat verstoßen, im Peer Review von vornherein blockiert werden.

Even Intelligence, a supposedly controversial journal, has guidelines for the “use of inclusive language”. These specify that submissions must “contain nothing which might imply that one individual is superior to another on the grounds of age, gender, race, ethnicity, culture, sexual orientation, disability or health condition.” […]

And it isn’t just journals. The owners of some datasets explicitly forbid you from testing certain hypotheses. To access data held by the Social Science Genetic Association Consortium, you now have to promise that you “will not use these data to make comparisons of genetically predicted phenotype levels across ancestral groups”. And one of the reasons given is that such comparisons could “animate biological conceptions of racial superiority”. (Note: reading the work of Charles Darwin could have the same effect.)

Man kommt nicht mal mehr an die Datenbanken mit statistischen Daten heran, wenn man nicht vorher zusichert, dass man die Daten nicht verwenden wird, um sie in Zusammenhang mit genetisch bedingten Phänotypen zu setzen (also Geschlecht, Hautfarbe, Rassen und so weiter).

Sein Fazit:

There are now a large number of people out there called scientists who are doing something other than science. This is not due to lack of scientific training, or low intelligence (some of them are highly intelligent.) Rather, it is due to the corruption of science by left-wing ideology. And until enough senior researchers stand up, we’re going to see more editorials like the one in Nature Human Behaviour.

Wie konnte etwas so Dummes wie die linke Ideologie so derartig Universitäten und Wissenschaft übernehmen?

Indem man die Universitäten so lange mit Dummen geflutet hat, bis sie die Mehrheit hatten. Und diese Flutung läuft auch hier seit zehn, zwanzig Jahren. Per Gender Studies und Quoten. Man hat gezielt dafür gesorgt, dass überall garantiert unfähige und deshalb von der Durchsetzung der Ideologie persönlich abhängige Leute reingedrückt und finanziell versorgt wurden, die nicht nur nichts anders konnten, als diesen linken Schwachsinn zu verbreiten, sondern elementar und unmittelbar auch davon abhängig sind, weil sie gar nichts anderes gelernt haben.

Ich glaube nicht, dass das zu unseren Lebezeiten noch zu reparieren ist.

Im Gegenteil wird die Verblödung jetzt erst richtig losgehen.

Etwas Hoffnung besteht noch in einem weltweiten totalen Stromausfall.
