In Australien haben sie herausgefunden, dass die Leute immer mehr Pornos gucken, von den Handys aus. Was man mit einer Hand eben so halten kann.

The analysis of porn viewing habits by Paul Maginn, an associate professor of urban/regional planning at the University of Western Australia, found the majority of Australians use their mobile phone to watch online porn, including 59 per cent in Sydney and 57 per cent in Melbourne.

Die Rede ist von 5% monatlichem (!) Anstieg des Netzwerk-Traffics, was aber auch ein Denkfehler sein kann. Vielleicht sind die Pornos auch nur höher aufgelöst, FullHD, 4K, 360° oder sowas.

Dr Maginn said the type of pornography viewed across Australia was broadly similar, with lesbian-themed porn the most popular type in the heterosexual section of the site. His analysis, presented to the State of Australian Cities Conference in Perth earlier this month, also revealed a growing interest in categories such as Japanese and Asian. […]

“In essence, the majority of the categories of porn viewed across Australian cities reflect heteronormative sexual preferences and interests,” he said.

“Lesbian and threesome porn being ranked quite highly speaks to classic stereotypical heterosexual male sexual fantasies.”

Dr Maginn also found subtle differences in the category of pornography viewed in Australia’s capital cities, with transgender among the most popular in Adelaide and Brisbane. Canberra was the only city where female friendly porn was among the most viewed.

About 70 per cent of Pornhub viewers are male, while 30 per cent are female, he said.

A self-described “sexademic”, Dr Maginn said his study of porn viewing was designed to generate evidence to inform policy-making.

“Porn is often the canary in the coalmine for all sorts of concerns about the supposed breakdown of society,” Dr Maginn said.

Beachtlich, dass sich trotz des Gender-Dauerfeuers nicht allzuviel daran ändert, dass die Welt so ganz herkömmlich heterosexuell Männlein-Weiblein-Flotter-Dreier ist. Warum sie in Adelaide oder Brisbane aus Transgender stehen, habe ich nicht verstanden. Vielleicht sollte ich da nochmal hin und einfach fragen.
