Hallo Herr Danisch,

ich habe vorhin ein Stück weit die Antrittsrede unserer neuen Weltinnenministerin vor der UN-Vollversammlung verfolgt, so lange ich es eben ertragen konnte. Auftakt ( https://www.c-span.org/video/?c5003874/german-foreign-minister-tells-un-time-choose-ukraine ):

“Mr. President, Secretary General, Your Excellencies, ladies and gentlemen! A baby girl was born, in a metro station in Kiev, just a few days ago. Her name, I’ve been told, is Mia. Her family was forced to shelter just like millions of others across Ukraine. Shelter from bombs and rockets, from tanks and grenades.”

Wenige Tage zuvor, am 27.02., hatte U.S. Ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas Greenfield ebenfalls eine Rede gehalten ( https://usun.usmission.gov/explanation-of-vote-by-ambassador-thomas-greenfield-on-a-unsc-resolution-calling-for-a-unga-emergency-special-session-on-russias-invasion-of-ukraine/ )

Auszug: “On Friday night, darkness descended on Kyiv. Missiles attacked a sheltering city. But the next morning, Ukrainians woke up to a new citizen – a baby girl born to a mother in a bomb shelter. The baby’s name is Mia. Photos of her tiny hand, gripping her mother as they hid underground, have inspired the world.”
