“We want you to know that creating a safe, welcoming, and kind third place is our top priority,” a message from Starbucks Senior Vice Presidents of U.S. Operations Debbie Stroud and Denise Nelson explained to employees. “Because simply put, we cannot serve as partners if we don’t first feel safe at work. The question on our minds is: How do we continue to show up for our communities while protecting our partners?”

The executives announced new trainings for de-escalation and active shootings, adding that among the policies they may pursue are “modifying operations, closing a restroom, or even closing a store permanently” if safety is a persistent issue, then transferring employees to other nearby stores.

Beachtlich dabei: Sie kündigen neue Schulungen für die De-Eskalation und das Verhalten in laufenden Schießereien an.

Es gab eine Zeit, da war sowas – Falling Down (1993) – noch eine Hollywood-Fiktion. Inzwischen aber entsteht in den USA eine Gesellschaft, die man nicht mehr in einem Restaurant bedienen kann.

Und alles Städte, die von den „Demokraten“ regiert werden. Was für ein Witz, der Name.

Ich bin mal gespannt, wie das weitergeht, und

• wo die USA in 10 Jahren stehen,
• wann die erste Stadt frei von jeglichem Gewerbe ist und nicht mehr beliefert wird,
• wann die erste Stadt ohne zentrale Stromversorgung ist und kein fließend Wasser mehr hat,
• wann die erste Stadt offiziell für außer Kontrolle von Regierung, Polizei und Feuerwehr erklärt wird,
• wann die erste Stadt in richtig großer Ausdehnung brennt,
• wann sie wieder Rassensegregation einführen, (offiziell, faktisch ist man ja eigentlich schon an dem Punkt)
• wann sie die Sklaverei wieder einführen,
• wer den Bürgerkrieg gewinnt.

Immerhin bleibt die Regel ungebrochen, dass noch nie eine marxistische Gesellschaft funktioniert hat.

Aber eins muss man ihnen lassen: Das mit dem Klassenkampf kriegen sie hin.
