Mathematikunterricht ist rassistisch. Und transfeindlich weil heterosexuellpatriarchal obendrein.

Hört sich wie eine Parodie oder Satire an. Unterscheidet sich aber nicht von der Realität.

Und was ist daran jetzt alles-und-jeden-feindlich?

During the second half of the lecture, I apply my framework and research findings to argue how undergraduate mathematics education operates as a white, cisheteropatriarchal space that limits learning opportunities affirming of queer of color identities and experiences. I conclude by re-imagining undergraduate mathematics education with structural disruptions that advance justice for learners marginalized across intersections of race, gender, and sexuality. This re-imagining accounts for ideological, institutional, and relational forms of disruption that interrogate dominant forms of knowledge production as well as expand access to learning opportunities and departmental support that affirm queer of color identities.

In der Mathematik sind Lösungen von Aufgaben richtig oder eben nicht richtig.

Das ist dann dominante Wissensproduktion und damit rassistisch, sexistisch und transfeindlich.

Also: wenn man sagt, dass 2+2=4 aber nicht =7 ist, ist dass rassistisch und Queer-unterdrückerisch. I identify as a 17.

Bin mal gespannt, wann sie Flugzeuge, Brücken, Hochhäuser, Kraftwerke, Windräder, Autos bauen. Oder die Staatswirtschaft übernehmen. Das wird sicher lustig.

Ich hoffe ja immer noch, dass sie das auch in Geographie so machen und irgendein Kontinent aus ihrer Wahrnehmung verschwindet. Man war ja schon der Auffassung, dass die Mercator-Kartenprojektion rassistisch ist und dringend ersetzt werden muss. Ideale Gelegenheit. Also los. Queere Kontinente und Transländer.
