Die große europäische Firewall: Ende des freien Internets 2025

Sie bauen die Mauer wieder auf. Zumindest empfiehlt das eine Studie.

Ein Leser schickt mir einen Link auf eine Studie der EU vom Mai 2020 über die Frage, wie das hier mit dem Internet weitergehen soll.

Darin heißt es (Seite 10):

Action Plan 1: European Cloud / European Internet

A European firewall/cloud/ internet would foster a digital ecosystem in Europe based on data and innovation. It would drive competition and set standards, similar to what has happened in China in the past 20 years. The foundations of such a European cloud are democratic values, transparency, competition and data protection

und Seite 37:

5.1.European Cloud / European Internet

The EU should include an action plan for a digital cloud – a European Internet – in the DSA. This European Cloud would foster a European digital ecosystem based on data and innovation. It would drive competition and set standards. Foreign web services could become part of such a digital ecosystem but must adhere to the rules and standards of the EU – such as democratic values, data protection, data accessibility, transparency and user friendliness. Technologically, it would require a top-level infrastructure, high-speed 5G or a 6G data network and a firewall. Setting up such a network would promote many European companies and therefore boost business and drive innovation. Like the Chinese firewall, this European internet would block off services that condone or support unlawful conduct from third party countries.

Nur dass die Chinesische Firewall eben nicht – wie ehedem der zentraldeutsche „antifaschistische Schutzwall” – dazu diente, dass nichts Böses reinkommt, sondern dass man nicht mehr rauskommt.

Der Formulierung nach heißt das hier, dass man dann keine Webseiten, keine Informationen mehr abrufen kann, die den EU-Vorgaben nicht entsprechen. Also alles, was an Informationen der politischen Vorgabe nicht entspricht, oder auch den dann geltenden Urheberrechtsdiktaten. Oder eben Informationen über Wahlbetrug. Und so weiter.

Und das ist verblüffend ähnlich den Plänen, die Ursula von der Leyen 2009 als Kinderpornosperre ausgeben wollte. Das hörte sich zwar anders an, aber das lag daran, dass die das Internet nicht verstanden hatten und dachten, das DNS ist so eine Art Webseitenproxy und Internetprovider Webseitendealer. Die stellten sich das alles im Prinzip so wie BTX oder alte America Online vor.

So wird das dann ja auch wieder werden, wenn die Kommunikation bald nur noch über Facebook läuft.

Ah, ja, das ist schön. Überall bezahlen mit dem Gesicht. Kein Schritt mehr ohne Überwachung.

Und das mit den Robotern im Gesundheitssektor passt auch gut, sie sagen ja gerade, dass sie genug Intensiv-Betten, aber nicht genug Intensiv-Personal haben.

Medium term 2022 – 2025

Update 2 of the Visionary Communication Programme: i.e. crypto, quantum computing. Here it is important to include visionaries, think tanks and influences to communicate the update to the public.

Oh. „Crypto”. Da bin ich jetzt aber mal sehr gespannt.
